The Principe di Gerace chickpeas come exclusively from the our farm located in Abruzzo, famous for the cultivation of this legume since medieval times, as evidenced by numerous historical documents. Grown according to the principles of Biodynamic Agriculture, they are characterized by a thin skin that makes them the most digestible of legumes. Naturally gluten-free, they are an ideal ingredient for preparing various recipes, from typical soups to creams and flans or as a side dish to accompany fish dishes and, finally, in preparations of oriental cuisine, such as falafel and hummus. The addition of Mediterranean aromas such as rosemary, garlic and bay leaves give the whole of each preparation a delicate and unmistakable aroma and taste.
