PRINCIPE DI GERACE Vegetable Specialties: Olives in brine, Olives Paste, Artichokes Creams

Masterfully prepared, our organic olive patè, comes from naturally ripened and hand picked olives. After harvesting, fruits are immediately put in a solution of water and salt in order to lose their bitterness and stored for different months. After this period, olives are pitted and minced according to a traditional recipe of the Mediterranean cuisine. Afterwards they are blended with a bunch of capers, oregano, hot chilli pepper and topped off with our top quality organic extra virgin olive oil. The result is a rich and fruity taste with a particular and delicate bitterness. Our olives pâté is delicious to make appetizers and sandwiches or to spread on toasted bread. This specialty is also very tasty as sauce with pasta.
