Saffron of Etna
Saffron fluorescence is between October-November. Flowers are picked up every early morning by hands (before they open). Right after, pistils are manually divided from the flower and slowly desiccated. The peculiar caratteristics of our saffron certenly comes from the volcanic soil: unique, extremely fertile, draining, and rich in nutrients. Our production method is biennial. and any chemical product is used.
