Bioalimenta srl is a family-owned company founded in 1998, in Fara San Martino (known as pasta capital), Abruzzo, Italy. Following the great pasta tradition of this place, the aim was to give back the pleasure of good food to the people that had to/decided to remove gluten from their diet, offering products with the same quality as the conventional products. In 2001, the company started producing gluten free Potato Gnocchi with an innovative and unique process for product safety. In 2003, the first gluten free production line for short pasta cuts is set up, including a slow drying process. Today, we have 5 production lines for more than 60 different gluten free products and Bioalimenta is one of the leading gluten free manufacturer, in the world. Together with quality, Bioalimenta also provides diversity and choice (which is usually missing in gluten free assortment proposals), over the years we have developed unique catalogue including special shapes such as Pappardelle, Tortiglioni, Potato Gnocchi, a Stabilised pasta line, which represents an innovative product and service. A soft pasta like the fresh one, but that can be stored at room temperature thanks to a modern production technology that combines tradition and innovation. It is particularly appreciated by the Chefs for its fresh style and quick cooking times.
